Privacy Policy
Last updated July 31, 2026
Pipeline ("Pipeline", "we", "us", or "our") operates the website trypipeline.app and the Pipeline software platform (together, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. It applies when you visit our website, request a plan, create an account, submit a form on a page powered by Pipeline, or otherwise interact with the Service.
By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
Our role
Pipeline is a business platform. Some information we handle belongs to our direct customers (the businesses and agencies that sign up for Pipeline). Other information — such as leads, contacts, appointments, and messages — is entered into or collected through the Service by those customers about their own leads and clients. For that customer data, we act as a service provider (processor) on the customer's behalf and handle it under our agreement with that customer. If you are a lead or client of a business that uses Pipeline, that business is responsible for its own privacy practices, and you should also review its privacy policy.
Information we collect
Information you provide
- Contact and business details you submit when requesting a plan, creating an account, or contacting us — such as name, email address, phone number, company name, and industry.
- Account and workspace data you and your team enter while using the Service, including leads, contacts, appointments, funnel content, templates, and integration settings.
- Information submitted through forms and booking pages powered by Pipeline, such as a name, phone number, email address, and responses to qualification questions.
- Payment and billing details, which are processed by our payment providers; we do not store full card numbers.
- Communications with us, including support requests and feedback.
Information collected automatically
- Technical and usage data such as IP address, device and browser type, operating system, pages viewed, referring URLs, and actions taken in the Service.
- Cookies and similar technologies used to keep you signed in, remember preferences, measure site performance, and understand how the Service is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may limit some features.
Information from third parties
- Information from services you choose to connect, such as Google or Apple sign-in, calendar providers, CRM systems, advertising platforms, and messaging providers, as authorized by you.
How we use information
- Provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Service.
- Create and manage accounts and workspaces.
- Respond to plan requests, inquiries, and support questions.
- Send transactional communications about your account, bookings, and the Service.
- With your consent, send SMS text messages such as appointment scheduling, confirmations, and reminders (see "SMS and mobile information" below).
- Process payments and manage billing.
- Monitor for fraud and abuse, secure the Service, and debug issues.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
SMS and mobile information
If you opt in to receive text messages from us or from a business using Pipeline, we use your phone number and related opt-in information only to deliver the messages you agreed to receive and to honor opt-out requests.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, excluding vendors and service providers acting on our behalf (such as our SMS delivery provider) solely to enable delivery of the messages you have consented to receive. All other categories of information described in this policy exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; that information will not be shared with or sold to any third parties.
- Message frequency varies based on bookings and account activity.
- Message and data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP to opt out at any time. Reply HELP for help.
- Consent to receive texts is not a condition of any purchase.
For full messaging program details, see our Messaging Consent page.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes. We share information only in these circumstances:
- Service providers. Vendors that help us run the Service — hosting, databases, authentication, email delivery, SMS delivery, payment processing, and analytics — under contracts that limit their use of the data to providing services to us.
- Integrations you authorize. When you connect a third-party service (for example a calendar, CRM, or ad platform), we share the data needed to provide that integration at your direction.
- Our customers. If you submit information through a form or booking page operated by a business using Pipeline, that information is shared with that business.
- Legal and safety. When required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of Pipeline, our users, or the public.
- Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
Data retention
We keep personal information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, resolve disputes, maintain business records, and comply with legal obligations. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it. You may request deletion of your account data by contacting us.
Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and tenant isolation. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your rights and choices
- Access, correction, and deletion. You can update most account details in the product, and you may contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information.
- Marketing opt-out. You can opt out of marketing emails via the unsubscribe link in any marketing message. We will still send essential transactional messages.
- SMS opt-out. Reply STOP to any text message to stop receiving texts.
- Integrations. You can disconnect connected services at any time from your workspace settings.
- Cookies. You can manage cookies through your browser settings.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) or the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) — including the rights to know, access, correct, delete, port, and restrict certain processing of your personal information, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below. We will verify your request and respond within the time required by applicable law. If you are in the EU/UK, you may also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
If your information was submitted to Pipeline by a business that uses our platform, we may direct your request to that business, since it controls that data.
Children's privacy
The Service is intended for business use and is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
International users
The Service is operated from the United States. If you access it from another country, you understand that your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States and other locations where our service providers operate, which may have different data protection laws than your jurisdiction.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you through the Service or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
